Online Utility Bill Pay & E-Billing
The City of Ashland is now sending e-mail bills in lieu of postcards. If you're tired of another paper bill in your mailbox, sign up today! Fill out the form below and return it to City Hall or e-mail it to ubclerk@ashland-ne.com. It is recommended that if you sign up for E-bills, you also sign up for automatic bank withdrawal, although not required.

The City of Ashland does take credit and debit cards as well as eChecks for your utility bills online. There is a convenience fee involved with these transactions. The fee for credit and debit cards is 2.55% with a minimum fee of $2.00 and the fee for eChecks is $2.00.

Credit and debit cards are also accepted at City Hall, or by calling City Hall at 402-944-3387, for water bills, dog licenses, building permits, etc. There will also be a 2.55% convenience fee on these items.
We do have other convenient ways to pay your utility bills:
- Automatic Bank Withdrawal - this option will automatically deduct your account balance from your bank account on the 15th of every month. This option is free of charge. Fill out the form and drop it off at City Hall to set this service up. Or call City Hall for more information.

- Drop your bills off at City Hall between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or in our drop box after hours. The drop box is located to the right of the front door.
- Mail in your bills to 2304 Silver Street, Ashland, NE 68003.
*The City of Ashland has entered into an agreement with Forte to provide this automated payment service. Forte will charge a “Convenience Fee” of 2.55% with a minimum of $2.00 for credit/debit cards processed using this service. If paying by eCheck the fee is $2.00. The “Convenience Fee” is not a part of your bill, and the City of Ashland will not receive any portion of the fee associated with this service.
