Alien Encounter • A Tribute to Herbert Schirmer
We're back and better than ever! Stir-Up Days is Ashland, Nebraska's single largest annual community event. This year's theme is ALIEN ENCOUNTER, a Tribute to Herbert Shirmer and his December 1967 alien abduction experience in Ashland, NE! Highlights from previous celebrations include the Stir-Up Coronation on Friday night, the Grand Parade on Saturday morning, plus lots of fun and activities for all ages including Helicopter Rides, Bungee Trampoline, Carnival Games, Beer & Wine Garden and Live Music, and closing with the ASHLAND CAR SHOW on Sunday.

***Where To Park*** There are 2 public parking lots - one on the corner of 13th & Silver (which has ChargePoint Charging Stations for electric vehicles) and one on the corner of 14th and Adams. Overflow parking is available on the East side of Salt Creek (10th & Silver) in the grass. Streetside parking is also available, please obey all street signs.
